Heat Pump Installation in Los Angeles, CA
A heat pump is one of the smartest investments in Los Angeles because it handles both heating and cooling efficiently in the city’s mild climate. We install energy-efficient heat pump systems across Los Angeles, Pasadena, and Burbank.
Why More Los Angeles Homes Are Switching to Heat Pumps
Heat pumps have become increasingly popular in Los Angeles for a few practical reasons:
- Year-round comfort in one system: Instead of running a separate AC and heater, a heat pump handles both. One system, one maintenance schedule, one contractor to call.
- Energy efficiency: Heat pumps move heat rather than generate it, making them significantly more efficient than traditional heating systems, especially in LA’s mild winters
- Lower running costs: A more efficient system means lower monthly energy bills, especially if you’re replacing an older AC and furnace combination
- California rebates: Heat pump installations may qualify for rebates through SoCal Edison, LA DWP, or California’s TECH Clean initiative, reducing the upfront cost significantly
- Better for the environment: Heat pumps produce no direct emissions, making them a cleaner option than gas furnaces

If you’re like me, you’re probably looking at these reviews seeing all five stars thinking they can’t be real, they’re all five stars… No, three stars no two stars almost all five stars! .. Well, they are and for a reason, because you could not get a better conpany to work on your air-conditioning or heating than Pyramid . Garen was amazing! . Here’s the quick story… I’ve had a leak in my condensate pan since last summer… Ibused to be part of AHS. I called them they sent over a terrible terrible company that looked at it tried to unclog the pipes, couldn’t do it…. Told me they couldn’t do it, told me to get a plumber so I spent $150 Service fee to get a plumber.. Still leaked I told them all I wanted was to replace the condensate pan…they said it wasn’t possible cuz it was old style … They submitted to AHS and it was gonna cost me $3000! .. to fix a whole bunch of stuff I didn’t need fixed…. I said no got a second opinion… second company came told me the same thing they couldn’t do it when they submitted to AHS , somehow none of it was covered… Needless to say I left AHS (which you should do if you’re with them it’s a terrible company) …. All I wanted was a condensate pan replaced and the pipes unclogged… So then I went onto Angie’s list got a couple to come. They also said they couldn’t do it… Told me I had to replace it so they could do thousands of dollars of work and my pan was still leaking! . It was winter so I didn’t need my air-conditioning much but a couple of weeks ago when it was hot, I did it ..was it still leaking… badly… I got recommendations from the community on Ring and saw Pyramid recommended... Saw the reviews... Thought I’d take a chance and couldn’t be happier.! Garry came by and did exactly what was needed to be done… Told me he could get a new condensate pan MADE! And replaced pipes so drained better .. which is exactly what he did three days after the initial consultation… He could do what nobody else could or wanted to do! For a a great and fair price! Didn’t try to sell me and stuff I didn’t need , just fixed my problem, did it quickly was very friendly and respectful of the space.. and he’s a friendly guy really great to talk to… And funny ..I honestly wish I could give 10 stars! I cannot say enough good things about Gary amd this company… I’m telling you, if you need HVAC work done in LA, Pyramid is the only place you should call!Posted on Google Dennis H. He is the man to do the job.Posted on Google eddie rubyanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Gary did an outstanding job from start to finish! We were having an issue with our AC connecting to our Google Nest thermostat, and what initially seemed like a complicated problem turned out to be a wiring shortage. Gary quickly diagnosed the issue and explained everything clearly so we understood exactly what was going on. What really stood out was how calm, confident, and efficient he was throughout the entire process. He made something that had been frustrating for us feel completely effortless. Within no time, the issue was fully resolved and our system was working perfectly again. It’s clear that Gary has a tremendous amount of experience and technical expertise. His professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot quickly truly set him apart. I highly recommend Pyramid Heating & Cooling Inc.
